Project Request Form

Attorneys who need help with legal research and writing can hire BYU Law grads or law students on a project by project basis. The rate of pay is negotiable (minimum $20/hour) with most attorneys choosing to pay on an hourly basis. Attorneys may specify required qualifications (e.g.- must have a computer background). Researchers may only work for licensed members of the Bar and attorneys must provide access to the firm Lexis or Westlaw account if they want online research.

Students can not use their Lexis or Westlaw student accounts to do your research. If you would like them to use Lexis or Westlaw they will need to use your firms account.
