Career Services

Reciprocity Policy

The Career Services office is happy to work with graduates and students of other law schools through the reciprocity process. In order to provide effective service to both our students and to visitors, please note the following:

  1. Requests for reciprocity must be made in writing (via regular post, fax, or e-mail) by the career services office of the student's / graduate's law school. This must be done before using our career services office. Please include the requestee's address so that acceptance letters may be sent to both the student/graduate and the requesting law school.

  2. When student/graduate comes to our office after receiving an acceptance letter, he or she should check in with a member of the Career Services staff.

  3. Services available to the student/graduate include using our Jobs board, library resources, non-password protected areas of the website, and NALP publications. We are also willing to provide counseling services to students and graduates of other law schools. Services do not include access to on-campus interviewing, job fairs, online job listings or other password protected features of the website.

  4. Reciprocity is granted for a period of three months, after which time the student/graduate will need to reapply for reciprocity.

  5. Although we typically grant services throughout the year, however, from mid-August through September, we will not be able to offer reciprocity.

  6. The Career Services Office may restrict or revoke reciprocity privileges to any individual who misuses the facilities or services, or to any law school surpassing a reasonable number of requests within any academic year.

  7. Please send your requests to:
