Twenty-three teams from 12 different schools recently came to J. Reuben Clark Law School to compete in the ABA Regional Negotiation Competition.

Nine BYU law students were recently awarded scholarships by the Utah Minority Bar Association for excellence in promoting diversity in the law.

The BYU law school community honors the memory and influence of a beloved professor, colleague, and friend, Michael Goldsmith, who died at 58 after battling amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).

Keith Perkins gave this year's Honored Alumni Lecture on "The Heart and the Legal Mind" at J. Reuben Clark Law School. Perkins founded The Never Again Foundation, a non-profit legal charity for victims of abuse.

Prof. Richard Wilkins retires from the BYU Law School. He has been on leave at the Doha International Institute for Family Studies and Development and will continue his work there.
