Our faculty and students have special interests in drawing upon the Internet as a resource for foreign/international law research. These interests stem from the fact that the majority of our faculty and students are poly-lingual and have spent time in foreign countries. The purpose of this guide is to share our international interest and offer the law community a resource for studying the laws of foreign countries. We have also included links to other non-law sites if they aid the general study of that country.
Some of the resources listed are in foreign languages. There are many good "on-line" foreign language dictionaries to aid you in any translation needs you may have. Please refer to the
foreign dictionaries page for assistance in this area. However, unless otherwise stated, assume all sites are in English. Additionally, assume all sites are referring to the main country unless a province, state, or city of that country is indicated.
The law resources listed here are neither comprehensive nor are they all "official." This guide represents a concise index to access the efforts of individuals and countries desiring to publish their laws on the World Wide Web. We hope that you will contribute to this effort by informing us of mistakes or additional/more recent resources.
