To use iFolder, you must first download the client and set it up on your workstation. The client can be downloaded at jrcb-if3.byu.edu

It is a good idea to close all programs prior to installing iFolder because your computer must restart as part of the installation.
Once you have downloaded the file, begin installation by double clicking the icon.
Before the installation of iFolder begins, Microsoft's .Net framework must be installed. If you already have the framework installed, the .Net installation will be bypassed and the iFolder installation will begin automatically.
Click Run when this box appears

Select I agree on the License Agreement and click Install

You will be prompted to restart your computer when the .Net installation is complete. Click restart. When the computer has restarted, the installation of iFolder will begin automatically.
When your computer has restarted, there will be an iFolder icon in your system tray next to the clock as well as an entry in your start menu. Open the iFolder client by navigating to the entry in the start menu or by double-clicking the entry in the system tray.

Now that iFolder is set-up you can right-click any folder on you computer and choose the option Convert to an iFolder. It is not likely that you will notice much happening with your computer as the folder is being converted, however, all of the data in the iFolder is being uploaded to the iFolder server.
Once all of the information is uploaded you can access your information from virtually anywhere using the iFolder web interface.
If you find that you are having difficulty synchronizing your information to the server, return to the accounts page to ensure that you are still logged in. If you are not, click the 'Log In' button.
To access the web interface, enter the address jrcb-if.byu.edu/ifolder in your browser. Enter your username and password and you will then be able to access all of your files from the web interface.
