Republication Permission

Requests for permission to reprint any piece published in the BYU Journal of Public Law should be sent to:

Please include (1) the name, author, and citation of the article you wish to reprint; (2) the name, author, and publisher of the book or other publication in which the article will appear; and (3) the forecasted date of publication of the reprinted article. If only excerpts of an article will be reprinted, please include a copy of those specific portions.

To fulfill the requirements of our publication agreements, the author of the piece for which copyright permission has been requested will have thirty days to object to our granting copyright permission. Thus, those requesting copyright permission may expect a delay of about thirty days before the Journal responds to a request.

Classroom Use

The Journal is pleased to grant permission for copies of articles to be made for classroom use, provided that (1) a proper notice of copyright is affixed to each copy, (2) the author and source are identified, (3) copies are distributed at or below cost, and (4) the BYU Journal of Public Law is notified of the use.
