BYU Law Faculty Members Honored at Annual University Conference

Three BYU Law School employees received recognition at the 2011 Annual University Conference.
During the
Award Recipients Reception,
J. Clifton Fleming received the Karl G. Maeser Research and Creative Arts Award for his unparalleled dedication to his students and outstanding commitment to scholarship. This award reflects Professor Fleming's passion for teaching and deep love of ideas, while specifically recognizing him for his remarkable service as a mentor to his students and for his contribution to the field of tax law and policy. Professor Fleming teaches U.S. and international tax law classes on campus.
Law Professor
David H. Moore, scholar of international and foreign relations law, was awarded the R. Wayne Hansen Teaching and Learning Fellowship. This award recognizes and supports faculty achievement in teaching.
President Cecil O. Samuelson honored
Bonnie R. Geldmacher of the Howard W. Hunter Law Library staff with a President’s Appreciation Award in special recognition of her ingenuity and exceptional service to the BYU Law School, its students and staff.
The Award Recipients Reception was held on Tuesday, August 23 in the Marriott Center, where several other outstanding members of the BYU community were also honored.
