Adjunct Professor Recieves Award of Excellence

Adjunct faculty member, Jane Wise, received Brigham Young University’s “Adjunct Faculty Excellence” award at this year’s Annual University Conference. University president Cecil Samuelson presented Professor Wise with the award at Tuesday’s joint meeting held in the Marriott Center.

“I am gratified the university chose to honor Jane Wise,” commented Dean Rasband.  “She is a wonderful teacher and a truly giving citizen of the law school.  Her work on the Clark Memorandum and other law school publications has been a great addition to the law school’s efforts to fulfill its mission.”

Professor Wise joined the J. Reuben Clark Law School in 1998 as an adjunct professor. She currently teaches Legal Writing and Research in the Rex E. Lee Advocacy Program to first-year law students. The program which was developed in 2000 was ranked 17th in the nation in 2009 for legal writing programs in law schools.
