From 9:30 to 11:00, employers are available to talk with students and alumni who visit their table. This is a great opportunity for students and alumni to learn more about what different organizations do, to inquire about a particular area of law, to get a feel for different office cultures, and perhaps to impress someone enough to secure an interview. Table Talk conversations are not formal, scheduled interviews, but they provide an opportunity for organizations to gain exposure and for employers to meet and connect with students based on shared interests.
Employers who are conducting interviews in the afternoon but do not have a full schedule may offer interview slots to students they meet through Table Talk.
During the afternoon of both fairs, employers interview to fill summer intern/clerk or open attorney positions. Students and alumni interested in participating in the pre-scheduled interviews must apply by the deadline stated on the main page’s Student Timeline.
Interviews are 20 minutes long and take place in a public space with 20+ other interviews occurring at the same time. It can feel a bit like speed dating, but it is a serious job interview. Many employers base their hiring decisions solely on submitted application materials and the career fair interview. Employers may use up to thirteen interview slots while enjoying two breaks held in the afternoon.
Employers that are unable to attend the fair in person may participate in a Resume Collect. These employers will request that students send them their resume (and possibly additional materials, if specifically requested). If an employer would like to interview any students who submitted materials, they will directly contact the student and schedule an interview at a time and location outside of the career fair.

WHO CAN INTERVIEW?
Only students and alumni from Northwest Consortium schools may apply for pre-scheduled interviews. Students and alumni from any law school may register for the fairs and participate in Table Talk.
HOW DO I APPLY?
- Register for the career fair(s) through the student registration link. This will drive you to the Eventbrite registration and payment system. To attend one fair, the registration fee is $15. To attend both fairs, the registration fee is $25. Lunch is included in your registration fee.
- Once you are registered to attend one or both of the fairs, you may submit applications to the employers interviewing at the fair(s) by following the instructions set forth in the links below.
WHAT IS THE DEADLINE TO APPLY FOR INTERVIEWS?
In order to be considered for pre-scheduled interviews, application materials must be submitted by Tuesday, January 15, 2019 @ NOON.
WHEN WILL I KNOW IF I HAVE BEEN SELECTED?
Students will be notified by January 24, 2019, regarding whether they have been selected for an interview. Some employers will select alternates to receive interviews should space become available.
WHAT IF I WANT TO DECLINE AN INTERVIEW OR AM UNABLE TO PARTICIPATE?
If a student is unable to accept an interview (or interviews), they must notify the career fair by January 25, 2019 @ NOON.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I GET AN INTERVIEW?
Students must check in at the career fair reception at least ten minutes prior to their first interview. If a student does not check in, their interviews will be given to available alternates.
