The BYU Women's Law Forum empowers women to succeed in their community, home and professional careers by providing mentoring, support, service and education about issues affecting women.

Opening Social on Wednesday, September 16th, 6:00 p.m. in Room 303. It's a great opportunity to socialize, discuss gender issues, banter about law school (or not law school) and eat some great treats. Join us to see what the BYU Women's Law Forum is all about and hear about our upcoming activities for this year!

"The Importance of Education for LDS Women: How a Law Degree Prepares Women to Contribute in the Church, Families, and the Community" Wednesday, September 30th at 7pm. BYU Wilkinson Center, Room 3220 Keynote Speaker: Elder John K. Carmack, Director of the Perpetual Education Fund and panel discussion with female LDS attorneys, moderated by Nancy VanSlooten, JRCLS Chair-elect.

We invite all women and men interested to join us (dues are $12/yr for food, t-shirt, activities, speakers, etc.,). T-shirts are also available individually for $5. Dues may be paid to our treasurer, Jana Barker (carrel #250).
