H. Reese Hansen

The House of Representatives of the Association of American Law Schools has elected H. Reese Hansen, a professor at the BYU Law School, as the 2010 president of the AALS. Hansen will be the first BYU faculty member to serve as president of the AALS. He will serve as president-elect for 2009.

"Election as president of the AALS is one of the highest honors that can come to a law professor," said James Gordon, former interim dean of the BYU Law School. "It reflects Professor Hansen's exceptional leadership in legal education nationally."
